Shirley Jane Esters Bunch

She was born May 13, 1939 in Williamston, North Carolina.

Mrs. Bunch had worked for Bassett Furniture Company, Stanley Furniture Company and Dupont.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Esters, her step father, Thomas Esters and her husband, Roosevelt Bunch.

She is survived by her daughters, Irene Elizabeth Bryant of Moore, Oklahoma, Judy Boyd of Norfolk, Virginia, Mary Carter of Bel Air, Maryland and Sherry Lynn Bunch of Martinsville; sons, Larry Darnell Esters of Richmond, Virginia, James Stuart Esters of Charlotte, North Carolina and Keith Clayvon Bunch of Kernersville, North Carolina; sister, Mattie Evelyn Wells of Bassett; brothers, James Savoy Esters of Bassett and Clayton Lee Esters of Peekskill, New York; eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p. m. on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Bassett.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Bassett with Elder Terry Hairston officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
