She was born March 27, 1954 to James Elbert Koger and Ruth Ann Smith Koger.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother: Elbert Delano Koger.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Ann Smith Koger of Martinsville; her partner, Keith Preston; five sisters: Verna Zapata and her husband Frank, Robin Koger and her friend Robert, Debra Koger and Nancy Koger all of Martinsville, Lisa “Felicia” Jewett and husband Gregg of New Jersey; one brother: Michael Koger and his wife Lois of Bassett and sister-in-law: Jantje Koger of Spencer.
The Funeral service will be held 12:30P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Antioch Christian Church with Reverend Junior Wimbush officiating. A visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery.
