Mr. William L. “Buddy” Gray, our precious husband, father, brother and friend, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 14 th after a short battle with cancer.
Buddy grew up in Chesapeake, VA. on September 7, 1947 to Ruth Beane Gray and Joseph Benjamin Gray, both deceased. Buddy had a sincere passion for the lost and lovingly influenced many to know his God.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Turner Stoneman Gray, his special son, Brian, stepson, Scott Stoneman (Amy), and step granddaughter, Aubrie. He leaves behind two sisters, Wilma Gray Edwards (his twin), Wanda Turner(Larry), two brothers, Joseph “Bennie” Gray (Susan) Dempsey Gray, special brother-in-law, Bunny Turner.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Moorefield officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 to 7:00 PM prior to the service.
