William Corbett “Bill” Moseley, Sr., 59, of Bassett, died Monday, November 24, 2014 at Blue Ridge Rehab in Stuart. He was born in Richmond on April 28, 1955, to Marvin Lewis Moseley, Jr., of Danville and the late Phyllis Lawson Moseley. Bill had been a truck driver for more than thirty years, and the last seven years of his career with Old Dominion Trucking Company.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Lewis Moseley.
In addition to his father he is survived by one daughter, Laura E. Moseley of Greensboro, NC; two sons, daughter-in-law and special granddaughter, William C. Moseley, II and his wife, Erin and daughter Allison of Roanoke and Matthew “Matt” Lewis Moseley of Bassett and his special companion, Mary Branham of Martinsville.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Bud Sedwick officiating. Interment will be private
