Florencio O. Morales

Florencio Morales was known to his family, friends and acquaintances as cheerful, confident, energetic, ambitious, adventurous, and kind-hearted. His life hurdles were lessons experienced by all through his great storytelling with underlying encouragement to persevere against all odds and enjoy life to its fullest. His vivacious character would brighten up a room with his great smile, contagious laugh and never-ending jokes. He touched many lives in his ninety-six years, and his memory never failed him. He remembered the name of each soul that left a mark on his path and was always grateful for those wonderful memories.

Florencio said, “Life becomes desirable when we find people of humbled hearts. Among us there are so many humans in which their kindness, love and wisdom distinguished them from others. People who in everything they do, the seeds of kindness and love of humanity are demonstrated. I have been very lucky that in my life I have had on my side samples of those people.”

Florencio left this earth on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2:40pm. He knew he was not alone. He was surrounded by loved ones who cherished him for the great man he was and the great person he made them for being a part of their lives.

Florencio leaves behind a wonderful message from Albert Einstein, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Imagine a great life and then do what it takes to achieve it.
