He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dolores (Ruhl) Beightol.
Franklin is survived by his three daughters, Athena Turk and her husband Donnie of Austin, Kristal K. Beightol of Austin, Tracey Beightol of Kingsland, three grandchildren, Kaleb Beightol, Savannah Beightol and Brandon Turk.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at The Promise Land in Austin, Texas to honor the life of Franklin E. Beightol.
