Dad has gone to be with Mama in Heaven. Jasper Herman Simpson passed from this life June 24, 2013 at the age of 71. He was born September 5, 1941 in Austin, Texas to Jasper Simpson and Pearl Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife Jo Nell, parents, brothers, and sisters. Jasper is survived by 3 sons, 4 daughters, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10 am at Marrs-Jones-Newby with burial following at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.
