Kenneth Eugene Tyler

On May 31, 2012, Kenneth Eugene Tyler, 76, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 8, 2012 at Bastrop Christian Outreach Center (BCOC) located at 1096 Hwy 71 E, Bastrop Texas, 78602.

Kenneth served in the Air Force until 1962 and worked as a welder at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island Illinois, until he retired in 1995. Kenneth loved to play golf and especially enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center in Bastrop, Texas. Kenneth was a greeter at his church Bastrop Christian Outreach Center and especially loved seeing all the children come into church.

Kenneth is survived by his two children, Kevin Tyler (wife Heather), and Debora Tyler. Kenneth also had four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His brother Everett (Duke) Tyler and many nieces and nephews also survive him.

He moved to Bastrop Texas to be closer to his children. During his time here, he found a larger family, the family of God. At Bastrop Christian Outreach Center, he gave his life to Jesus. He had a servant's heart and touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed.
