My most sincere condolences to the Matthews family, though I never had the honor of meeting you. Willie's absence was just informed to me and I am still saddened by these unfortunate news. It was a privilege to work and socialize with a great musician, technical whiz and very hilarious individual: Darn-L. John 5:28,29 is a reality, our creator has a written plan and we can all have the opportunity to experience this reality. It is not over my good friend!

My sincere condolences to the Matthews family and his fiancée Karla. I had the honor of working with Willie out on the field for Sidel Inc Willie had a great attitude and loved life and was very well liked by all his peers. I heard of the news today I’m extremely sadden to hear of his passing very classy human being Willie was may you rest in eternal peace see you on the other side my friend.

To the Matthews family, I was was saddened to hear of the passing of my former co-worker and friend, Willie.  I will forever remember his smiling face and joking remarks.  He had friends all over the world.  May he rest in peace, and may God watch over and bless you during this difficult time.  Our Prayers are with you.

Darn-L was one of the most talented artist I'd ever met. Its a shame the world never got to know his fame. But now we can go out at night look up and see his star where it really counts. I loved him like a brother. D. hold my spot.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Karla and the Matthews family.  May God be with you in this time of sorrow. Darn-l was a great musician and songwriter.  It was a great privilege to have sung his songs.  He also had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful person.  He will truly be missed.

Karla and all of Darnell's family, we knew him for a short time, but he was always such a gentleman,and a wonderful person. He leaves a an open wound in all our hearts but we know he has gone to be with our Lord. Where he has found a greater glory. 
May God be with all the family and friends.

Its times like these that you hope to say the right thing. Its times like these that you should just speak from the heart.  
It was Aunt Pearl who said to me "You need to meet Darnelle". I finally did.  We became very close, he  became my teacher, We laughed, We joked, We had fun.  The day ended too soon.

I will take all these memories, and lock them in my mind. Though I dream I could, I cant turn back the hands of time. The times that we had I'll remember always, I'll close my eyes some nights, and relive, the days.

To Karla and the rest of Willie's family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Willie's passing. I worked with him at Sidel as a fellow field service engineer and later as a customer service manager where I was always glad when I could hire him to work on my jobs. He was a professional and could always be counted on to do his best, I counted him as -one of my friends and not just a co-worker. We spent time talking about music since that was his real calling and he pursued that with the same "do it right" attitude he displayed in every thing I saw him do.  He will be missed.

To the Matthews' family and Karla, I sorry that I could not be there during your sorrow; but my prayers are with you. May God con't to bless each one of you during this difficult time. Love, Rachel Robinson
