
Father and son, and residents of Baton Rouge, they died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, in a tragic house fire while visiting family in Covington. Andrew, 40, was completely devoted to his family. He died when he re-entered the house in an attempt to rescue his son, Brandon, 3. A mortgage banker, Andrew was a graduate of University Lab School and LSU. Both are survived by Megan Moore Crawford, wife and mother, and Andrew Douglas Crawford Jr., son and brother. Andrew is survived by his parents, William Edward and Sandra Shuler Crawford; and brothers, William Edward Crawford Jr. and John Felder Crawford II. Brandon is survived by his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Ullrich Moore; maternal grandfather, Frank Laird Moore; paternal grandparents, William and Sandra Crawford; aunts, Jessica Greer and Margot Moore; uncles, William Crawford, John Crawford and Justin Moore; and beloved nanny, Judy Crochet. Both are survived by numerous other family and friends. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Tuesday, Nov. 25, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
