

A homemaker, she died at her home in Central at 3:20 a.m.Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007. She was 82 and a native of Tangipahoa Parish. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Thomas Duhé, celebrant. Interment inResthavenGardensof Memory. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Marius Bailey Jr.; children, Dr. Kirk Bailey and his wife, Millie, Gayle Bailey, Gary Bailey and his wife, Clothilde, Brett Bailey and his wife, Lynn, Mark Bailey and his wife, Debbie, and Roxie Bailey Curry; brother, W.A. Kogel; grandchildren, Geoffrey, Claire, Dane, Lydia, Nicholas, Paige, Kathleen, Alesha, Beaux and Garrett Bailey, Kevin Pegues, Brandi Bailey Harris, Kelli Bailey McCoy, Cassie Curry and Lisa Caruso; great-grandchildren, Tessi Newman, Luke and Logan Caruso, and Cameryn Lucas; and great-great-grandchild, Alex Newman. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Craig Bailey; and parents, Harry K. and Ida Mae Chisolm McMichael. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Kevin Pegues, Geoffrey, Nicholas, Dane, Beaux and Garrett Bailey. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
