Anna K Schreiber, 90, was born in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, on December 18, 1931. She passed away on December 31, 2021, as a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. But before settling in Lafayette, she lived in many places like Guam, Florida, Germany, Italy, Baton Rouge, and Arkansas. Anna was married to the love of her life for 56 years and raised 4 beautiful children. She found fulfillment as a stay at home mother and enjoyed baking for family holidays and relaxing by sitting and embroidering. In her later years, Anna enjoyed pulling the handle on the slot machines. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy, and husband Tom Ashley of Lafayette; son, Carl Schreiber, and wife Glennis of Marshall, Arkansas; Son, Doug Schreiber and wife Anita of Sandia Park, New Mexico; daughter, Yvette Schreiber and spouse Paula of Milton, Delaware; sister, Sophie Chauvin of Baton Rouge; 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Schreiber; brothers, George Kitt, Michael Kitt, Alexander Kitt, Thomas “Tymko” Kitt, John Kitt; and sisters, Julia Richter, Mary Prejean, Helen Adams. A visitation for Anna will be held on January 6 from 10 am until service at noon at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (11000 Florida Blvd). Burial will follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary at 1:00 pm.
