She was a resident of New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and a native of Madisonville, La. She was a peoples greeter at Wall Mart Super Center. She passed away Friday May 18, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, she was 70. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Friday May 25, 2012 from 8am till Memorial Service at 9am. Annette is survived by her daughter Felicia Burgess and husband Albert; son Raymond Burgess; one sister Abbie Jones, and husband Madrid; one brother Woodrow Hyde and wife Dorothy; four grandchildren Jennifer Gonzales, Jeremy Gonzales, Ty Rhonda Carter and Robert Winston; great-grandson Carmelo Wyre, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Woodrow J. Hyde, mother Mary Lisberg Hyde, one brother Roudolph Hyde and step-mother Rosa Hyde. As a 12 year Breast Cancer survivor she was a devout and devoted fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Association and St. Judes Children Hospital at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge
