Annette Brumfield Phillips passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2025. She was 84, a native of Mobile, Alabama, born to Aubrey and Margaret Cooper Brumfield. Following high school in Franklinton, Louisiana, she moved to Baton Rouge and graduated from Draughon Business College. She then started her career with Seidman and Seidman CPA firm. Annette and Chad enjoyed nature related travel with National Geographic. They especially enjoyed bird watching. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fielding Chadwick (Chad) Phillips; sister, Jeannie Brumfield Augusta; nieces, Rebecca Roth Desselle and Sheila Lewis Evans; and nephews, Aubrey Scott Lewis and Richard Pierce Roth. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Annette Phillips; a sister, Joann Brumfield Roth; and her parents. The family wishes to thank Dedicated Sitters and Hospice Baton Rouge for their loving care. A private service will be held for her family.
