Antonio “Tony” Nicholas Bachaleda, age 45, of Baton Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Tony was born on May 18, 1975, in Marion, Indiana to Dennis L Bachaleda and Eugenia “Genie” Bilello Wyble. He attended Belaire High School, was a varsity wrestler, and was a champion black belt in Keichu Do Karate. Tony earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University. Tony loved spending time with and being a father to his children, watching sunsets and gardening with his wife, cooking with his mom, and eating crawfish with his dad.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Bingham Bachaleda, children Isabella, Anthony and Frankie Bachaleda; Parents Dennis L Bachaleda (Renee’) and Eugenia “Genie” Bilello Wyble (Gary); sister Eugenia Bachaleda Reames (David), brother Steven Bachaleda (Danielle); nephew Jonathan Bachaleda, niece Haillie Bachaleda; Aunt Patricia Bilello, Uncle Nick Bilello; cousins Frankie, Michael, and Tony Bilello, and countless friends.
Honorary Men: Steven Bachaleda, Jonathan Bachaleda, Doug Carter, John Hardin, Mark Guerrero, John Rochester, Paige Russell, and Ricky Sampere.
Visitation will be on May 4, 2021 at 4 pm at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA. A celebration of life service will begin at 7pm.
We encourage you to join his family and friends in honoring Tony’s lifelong love of Notre Dame by wearing funeral attire with some small acknowledgement of the Fighting Irish colors—Navy Blue, Gold & Kelly Green.
