A homemaker and native of St. Louis, Mo., she died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, surrounded by a daughter, Marjorie; grandsons, Sterling and Lyndon; and dearest friend, Lanell Stockstill. She was 85. Graveside services at Greenoaks Memorial Park on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Red Roeling. Survived by two daughters, Phyllis Miller, of Lafayette, and Marjorie Casas, of Baton Rouge; a son, Richard Wikenhauser, of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Betty Pollack, of Sarasota, Fla., and Dorothy Groesser, of St. Louis; three grandsons, Sterling and Lyndon Casas and Jessie Briggs; and a great-grandson, Noah Casas. Preceded in death by her first husband, Lyle E. Wikenhauser; second husband, Forrest Elgin; parents, Ollie and Ralph Crain; sister, Meryl Schmidt; grandson, John Briggs; and stepson, David Elgin.
