Audrey Prescia

Audrey Nell Solar Rotolo Prescia went home to be with the Lord on Aug 24th, 2021. She was 90 years old, originally from Morganza, LA and resident of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her children, Helen Tanguis; Robin Johnson; Mary Ann Murphy, Charles R. Rotolo, Michael Rotolo and wife, BJ; step daughter, Mary Jane Nuernberg; step grandchild, Jennifer Leonard; grandchildren, Kristi Durant and husband, Troy; Jarod Rotolo and wife, Shaunie; Ashley Rotolo; Toni Maattala and husband, John; Jordan Nuernberg; Caleb Murphy; Hayden Murphy; great grandchildren, Natalie, Eliana and Portia Durant; Bella and Roman Rotolo; Blaze and Jason Leonard; Noah, Gia, Amiyah and Selah Nuernberg; Logan and Isabelle Maattala.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ada Solar; husbands, Anthony Robert Rotolo and Blaze Thomas Prescia; siblings Ida, Ethel, Lula, Jeannette, Nelson and Percy; son-in-law, Daniel Murphy. Audrey was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. A member of STM church, she was blessed with a rich long life and two wonderful husbands. She was always willing to share her blessings and a helping hand with those around her. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed entertaining especially around holidays. She loved singing, gardening, lunch with her friends, reading, dancing and playing cards. Her golden years were spent praying and holding hands with her husband. She had a grateful, humble heart and walked in faith, grace and hope. “My Jesus, my Saviour. Lord there is none like you. My comfort, my shelter. Tower of refuge and strength. Shout to the Lord all the earth, let us sing. Power and majesty, praise to the King. I sing for joy at the work of Your hands. Forever I’ll love you, forever I’ll stand.
