

Barbara Albert Brown died peacefully on January 30, 2021. She was 88 years old and a native of Brenham, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Fate A. Brown; her father Roosevelt W. Albert and her mother Pauline Meyer Albert Whitaker Remmert. She is survived by her son Danny and wife Johnna; and daughter Susie; grandchildren: Chris, Laura, Aaron and wife Ryan, Cade, Cassie and Jessica and husband Michael; and great grandchildren Jonah, Braiden, Carson, Macey, Blakely and Vera. Barbara was an avid bowler. She began bowling in 1965. She served or the Baton Rouge WBA board as the Secretary/Treasurer and the Greater Baton Rouge USBC as the Association Manager. She also served as a Director on the Louisiana State USBC WBA. She is a Member Emerita of the Gr. Baton Rouge USBC and the Louisiana State USBC. She was inducted into the Gr. Baton Rouge USBC Hall of Fame and the Louisiana State USBC Hall of Fame for meritorious service. She retired from Mutual of Omaha Insurance after 40+ years.
