Betty T. Hullinger was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 30, 1926, and she passed away on May 13, 2022, in her longtime residence of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she lived as a homemaker and beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Betty loved working puzzles, playing pokeno, and red hats, but most of all she loved her family with all her heart. She was also a LSU lady tiger fan. Betty is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Don) Touchet and Julie Hullinger, both of Baton Rouge; sons, Greg (Lyn) Hullinger of Houston, TX, Mark (Denise) Hullinger of Keller, TX and Jim (Renee') Hullinger of Bullard, TX, Scott (Betty) and Bob (Linda) Hullinger, both of Baton Rouge; 15 grandchildren, Kelly McCollough, Amy (Patrick) Fitzgerald, Stephen (Shannon) Hullinger, Matthew (Candi) McCord, Briana Arsenault, Michael Dillon, Angie (Jacob) Garrett, Sarah (Bubba) Breland, Jenny (Jon) Christensen, Michael Hullinger, Rachel (Joey) Aucoin, Jamie Estess, Heather (Damien) Barbery, Russ Hullinger, and Joey Estess; and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell R. Hullinger; and brothers, Robert Tonn and Jack Hettwer. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church at 9 am until Mass at 11. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
