Burlin “Beau” Davis Mabrey, age 67, died in his home in Baton Rouge on December 14, 2021. He was born on August 28, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and, after many travels and a distinguished career, retired from the Navy in 1996. He settled down in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his family where he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Chronister Mabrey and his father Thomas Anthony Mabrey. He is survived by his wife, Fara, his children, Anna, Beatrice, and Anthony, his grandchildren, Josephine and Henry, and his brother William. He is also survived by his three nephews, several cousins, and many friends. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Baton Rouge, LA 70802 on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Louisiana National Cemetery, Monday, December 20 at 11:00 am.
