A native of Germany and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Monday, March 2, 2009, at 3 a.m. in Baton Rouge. She was 57 and was an accounting manager at Associated Terminals. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 3, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a memorial service at 8 p.m. She is survived by her mother, Gisela Van Note; brothers, Larry and Ben Van Note, all of Edison, N.J.; son, Jason Ballard and his wife Kristen, of Gonzales; and grandson, Braden Lawrence Ballard (named after her father), also of Gonzales. She is also survived by her extended families, who include Sue and Bill Vascocu, Kim Baker and family, Shane Vascocu and family, and by her dear friends and "family" at Associated Terminals. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Van Note. She was an active member in the U.S. Bowling Congress, the Tuesday Toss Ups and Susan Corbitt's Sunday Mixed.
