Carol Humphrey, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the age of 78. Carol spent her time and talent as a teacher for the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board until she retired in 1980. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clark Humphrey; children, Faith Winters and husband, Michael, Shawn Humphrey and her choice, Jay V. Cudd; grandchildren, Jessica Dupuy, Lara Lea Winters; great-grandchild, Breanne Dupuy; sister, Camille Wentworth; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Price and Arminta Courtney; and son, Clark Humphrey, Jr. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
