A resident of Baton Rouge, she has gone to be with her Lord and Savior. She died on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at the age of 48. She is survived by her father, Ed Higgins of Lafayette; daughter, Misty Palmer Lusby of Baton Rouge; son, Kyle Palmer of Baton Rouge; brother, Mike Higgins of Prairieville; sister, Laura Higgins Ragusa of Oklahoma City; and grandson, Andrew Lusby. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Higgins. A memorial service will be held at Christian Church of Baton Rouge, 1357 Sharp Road, on Saturday, Jan. 13,at 11 a.m. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., is in charge of the arrangements.
