Carol Reed passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the age of 61, a native of New Castle, Pennsylvania and a resident Baton Rouge. She was a Registered Nurse with Woman's Hospital for 27 years. She was a U.S. Navy Nurse during the Viet Nam Era. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John and April Reed and her daughter; Jamie Dee Reed, her sister and brother-in-law; Jane and Jon Nielsen, grandchildren; Tyler, Alex, Michael and Katie Reed, her nieces; Stefanie Sorbet, Stacie LaCour, Jackie Freeman, Jenny Nielsen and Monica Deming and brother-in-law and his wife; Stephen and Sheila Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents; Rose and Walter Krok. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am conducted by Fr. Tom Duhe' internment to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
