Carol Ann Gaudin Samson

Carol Ann Gaudin Samson a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on January 29, 2021 at _4:01pm_ at the age of 85. She was devoted to her family and friends. She loved to cook and dance (jitterbug).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Linnie and Adeline Gaudin; her son Barry Lynn Samson; Granddaughter Hallie Samson; Great Granddaughter Shelby Wenning.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 60 years, Charles Samson, Sr.; sisters Linnie Burks and Marie Capone; five children and spouses, Laura Samson Martin and husband Chris, Daphne Samson LeSage and husband Ronnie, Cliff Samson and wife Michelle, Cyd Samson Hays and husband James (Jimmie), Becky Samson Breaux and husband Chris; grandchildren, Allyson Wenning, Sophie Martin, Michael Martin, Ron LeSage, John LeSage, Corey LeSage, Kenneth Samson, Logan Samson, Randy Wallace, Brittanie Wallace, Charles Samson III, Benton Higgins II, Rachel Higgins, Darryl Higgins Jr., Ben Hays, Jack Hays, Will Hays, Renee Samson, Christopher (CJ) Breaux Jr., Hunter Breaux, Payton Dodds, Lauren Dodds, Emily Breaux, Madelyn Breaux; 22 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews;

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home located at 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge_ on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Funeral services will be on immediately following at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
