Carol Ann Willis, a native of San Francisco, CA and a resident of Livingston, LA, passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 63. Carol was a dental assistant for 14 years in California, which was a job she loved. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and would make and donate baby quilts to children’s hospitals. She was a bright, beautiful, and caring soul who gave everyone she knew a little piece of her heart. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Rill of Livingston; cousin, Nancy Holdgate of Yelm, WA; and niece and nephew, Katie and Danny Holdgate of Yelm. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement Flerchinger and Violet Derenzo; and husband, Ronald Willis. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 10:00, officiated by Rev. Gray Pearson. Interment will follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary, LA. Pallbearers will be Cody Scallan, Curran Steele, Matt Peralta, Anthony Pierre, Jr., Leigh Fourroux, and Justin Perret. Memorial contributions can be made to Children’s Hospital or cancer research.
