A homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, she passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 93, born Dec. 4, 1917, in Monticello, Miss. She is survived by her sons, Wilson Russell and wife Elaine, Ken Russell and wife Judy, and Randy Russell and wife Sherri; a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Russell; brother, Sam Wright Jr.; and half sister, Clytae Fulda. She had 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis W. Russell; son, Bobby Russell; grandson, Keith Russell; parents, Sam and Ruth Wright; three sisters, a brother and a half brother. Pallbearers will be Rory, Brandon, Richard, Rusty, Ryan and Randy Russell Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Fletcher and Ronnie White Jr. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Jan. 30, was from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Monday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jim Gross. Internment in Greenoaks Memorial Park on Florida Boulevard.
