Charlene Ann Blackwell entered eternal rest on Friday, January 1, 2021, at the age of 62. She was a native of Opelousas, LA and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a Prophet to the Nations who enjoyed serving and teaching the Word of God at Arise Christian Center and across the world. She was a spiritual mother to many to whom she imparted wisdom and knowledge. Charlene earned her accounting degree at Southern University – Baton Rouge. From Ingersoll-Rand to starting her own business, B & B Financial Services, she helped non-profit organizations and businesses with their financial and tax needs. Her clients would always hear her say, “If you do it right the first time, you won’t have to do it again.” She enjoyed thrill rides, cooking gumbo, going to the movies and eating her popcorn, but above all else, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She never met a stranger that she wouldn’t minister to and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. …and for those of you that are unaware, she LOVED the royal color purple.
