Charles Stewart Muffoletto, age 74, resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on February 27th 2023. Charles helped his dad with Muffoletto’s Hot Tamale Kitchen located on North Blvd. Charles served in the Vietnam War with the US Marine Corps where he received several honors. He was stationed at DaNang Airport where he worked on airplanes. Charles was an outstanding bowler, and he was a lover of animals, having had several pets during his lifetime. Charles was survived by his daughter, Kara Coe, sister, Charlene M. Favre, nephew, Scott Favre, niece, Shelley F. Zeringue (Harris) all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Also nieces, Melissa M. Valdez (Gene), Stephanie M. Cassady (James), Erin Muffoletto, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Several great nieces and great nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph S. and Catherine Bell Muffoletto, brother, Dr. Warren J. Muffoletto and niece Jennifer Jean Muffoletto, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, March 9th 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am, Funeral service at 11:00 at Rabenhorst East with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
