

So Charlotte Ingram did for 93 glorious years. Charlotte Ingram, was a native of Houston, TX and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016. Charlotte graduated from University High and attended LSU, was a former member of the LSU Orchestra, a member of the Baton Rouge Music Club, and a Lifetime member of the 1st Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, where she was also a member of the choir. She loved her family to no end and her passion in life was music. She loved traveling with friends, especially Nancy and Tootie and going to the theater. She loved serving others and found joy in the simplest of task. She loved to cook and entertaining others. She was kind, patient and merciful to all she came in contact with. She is survived by her son, Stanford Paul Ingram (wife Debra); daughter, Shawn Mills (husband Henry), grandchildren, Kelly Mills, Whitney Mills, Keegan Mills (wife Meagan), Ainsley Farris (husband Hardy), Drury Ingram (wife Ashley), Joshua Ingram (wife Haley Echlan), Zachary Ingram (wife Rebecca), L’Erin Dobra, Quentin Ingram and Wesley Ingram; great grandchildren, Camille and Adeline Ingram, Colin Ingram, and Grayson Dobra.She was preceded in death by her husband, Drury Ingram, parents, Paul and Hessie William; daughter Shannon Bijou, grandson, Jonathan Matthew Ingram and great grandson Cohen Todd Ingram. Family request visiting hours be observed on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 10am to 12pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, family request memorial contributions be made to the Music Ministry of First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, PO Box 1309,Baton Rouge, LA 70821.
