Cherisse Elizabeth Dohmann Myers

Cherisse "Reesie" Dohmann Myers, age 47, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on January 17, 2024. She was born on October 31, 1976, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Cherisse had a vibrant and compassionate personality that touched the lives of all who knew her. Her sense of humor and kind-hearted nature made everyone feel like they had known her their entire lives.

Cherisse had a diverse career throughout her life, but truck driving was her absolute favorite. She enjoyed the freedom of the open road and the adventure it brought. In her spare time, she loved to gather around bonfires with her loved ones, participate in family gatherings, go fishing and engage in any outdoor activities.

Cherisse is survived by her beloved wife, Stephanie Myers, father Leland Dohmann, brothers Raymond and his wife Brandi Dohmann, Wade Dohmann, Aunt Ethel Hecard, Marlene Fontenot, Uncles Kurth Dohmann, Sr. and wife, Vicka Dohman, and Jerry Dohmann, Jr., also 3 nephews, 1 niece, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Preceded in death by her mother Shirley Ann Joubert Dohmann, Grandparents Thelma Henderson Joubert, Reme J. Jobert, Joseph Jerry Dohmann, Sr., Stella Rita Harmon Dohmann, Uncles Raymond Joubert, Anthony Norman Dohmann and Dale Verette and Aung Alice Verrette.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge for the loving care they gave to Cherisse and the support of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, a non-profit hospice organization.

Cherisse "Reesie" Dohmann Myers will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched. Her compassionate and loving soul will forever be remembered.

A Memorial service to honor Cherisse's life will be held at GreenOaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, LA., Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 11:00am until service time of 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
