Clare Foret "Gran" McCall, age 99, who was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge and native of New Orleans, passed away on June 23, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was a devout Catholic, a caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved cooking, gardening, watching LSU sports and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. "Mac" McCall, Jr. She is survived by her children, Linda McCann and son-in-law, John McCann, and Joseph R. McCall and wife Becky; grandchildren, Kim Ardoin and husband Alton, Chad McCann, Jody Emonet and husband Scott, Nicki Broddick and husband Bryan, and Lauren Fitch and husband Derek; and great grandchildren, Jacob McCann, Bryce Miller, Taylor Broddick, Haley Broddick, McCall Emonet, Austin Ardoin, Brooks Emonet, Davis Emonet, Beckett Fitch and Rivers Fitch. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 8:30 am until 10:00 am, with a Rosary at 9:30 am.
