

"Our beloved Mother and "Nanny", Mrs. Cleo Tullos Smith, 77, of Baton Rouge, passed away on September 30th, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, October 2nd, at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Visitation will resume at 9am on Wednesday, October 3rd, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30am, also at Rabenhorst East, with a brief graveside service immediately afterward at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge. Cleo was born in Harrisonburg, LA to Otha and Elizabeth Tullos on October 3rd, 1940. She married the love of her life, Jackson L. Smith on July 20th, 1956 in Woodville, Mississippi. Cleo devoted her life to her family and leaves a tremendous legacy in the form of three generations of devoted loved ones. Cleo is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Jack Smith, her parents, Otha and Elizabeth Tullos, her siblings, Jimmy, Lionel, and Louise Tullos, and 3 great grandchildren, William Feig Saint, Joseph Lockhart, and Gabriel Lockhart. She is survived by her brother, George Tullos, 5 children: Faye Feig (Bill), Kaye Evins (Tom), Renee Lossett, Gary Smith (Elaine), and Lisa Fennell (David), along with 13 grandchildren: Elizabeth Adkins (Jonathan), Katherine Saint (William), Tom Evins (Jessica), Kelli English (Steven), Michael Lossett (Jennifer), Jonathan Lossett, Jackson Lossett, Alison Madden (Martin), Christina Karp (Ben), Carly Lockhart (JK), Meghan Case (Trevor), Rebecca Fennell, Michaela Fennell, and 17 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steven English, William Saint, Jonathan Adkins, Ben Karp, JK Lockhart, and Trevor Case. Services will be officiated by Rev. Dr. David Chisham of First Christian Church of Baton Rouge.
