Cynthia graduated from LSU where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She was an officer in College of Education and President of the West ministries Fellowship in the Presbyterian Student Center. She was also a member of Chapter AA of PEO, the Literary Club and College Town Book club. She also served as President of The University High Moms Club. She was an active and committed member of Frist Presbyterian church in Baton Rouge, where she served as an ordained Elder, active Circle member and Sunday School teacher and participant.

She loved her family and was delighted in maintaining a close relationship with her two sets of grand twins. She especially enjoyed family dinners celebrating birthdays and all holidays as well as her Mississippi farm, Gallent Pines. One of her greatest joys was celebrating Thanksgiving in the country and watching her family love and appreciate it as much as she did.

When her old church, founded in 1808 in Mississippi had to close, she established a Foundation. The last members of the congregation deeded the church and cemetery to this foundation of which she is President and where she will be buried.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Louis Minsky for his exceptional medical care and her devoted caregivers, Edith Mosely and Patricia Williams who have been by her side for the past three years.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the First Presbyterian church foundation PO Box 2006 Baton Rouge, LA 70821.
