Danny retired as a lab technician from ExxonMobil with 34 years of service. A native of Zachary, he died at 7:14 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at his home in Central. He was 59. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Tuesday, Oct. 5, from 4:30 p.m. until a memorial service in the chapel at 6 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Charles Bennett Jr. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Parks Bennett; daughters, Alicia Kennedy and Lindsay Bennett, both of Central; brother, the Rev. Charles Bennett Jr. and his wife, Dorothy; grandson, Austin Bickham; granddaughter, Morgan Bellgraph; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Lucille Price Bennett; brother, James Darryl Bennett; and nephew, Jacob Chapman. Danny loved to bowl, hunt, fish and play golf.
