He was a member of the Lake Martin Baptist Church and an LSU fan. He touched many lives with his kindness and gentle spirit and was a role model to all of nieces, nephews, and friends. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lavon Williams Tapia; sons, Adam Tapia (Megan), and Travis Tapia; sister, Carmen Tapia Breaux (Warren) and brother Louis Tapia. He is preceded in the death his parents, IE and Geraldine Tapia; sisters, Glenda Tapia McDade, and Yolanda Tapia Ruhle and brother David Tapia.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA., on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 10:00 am until service time of 12:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be, Adam Tapia, Blake Williams, Kolby McDade, Kaz McDade, Brandon Womack and Brian Wood.
