David Kirk, 82, of Baton Rouge, passed away on April 14, 2015. He was born in Anderson County Tennessee and attended Tennessee Wesleyan College and The University of Tennessee where he graduated in 1956. He retired in Baton Rouge in 1996 after a 40 year career with Cargill Inc. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Audrey, son David and wife Beverly, son Stephen and wife Donna, Son Peter and wife Lisa, grandsons Sean and Ben Kirk, great-granddaughter Isabella Walsh and the latest addition to our family, our loyal dog "Lefty." He was preceded in death by his grandson Marine Sgt. Jeffery L. Kirk (KIA 2004, Iraq). A visitation will be held April 18, 2015 from 12 to 2:00 p.m. at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge.
