Deborah Rodriguez Williams

Debbie embodied the spirit of our family. She was the glue across generations of her family, cherishing and uniting her parents and her brothers. Within our own family, she was a constant source of strength and unwavering support for her husband, her sons, and her continually growing extended family. Her love extended beyond family to include a vibrant network of friends she made in college and continued to build throughout a lifetime of travels. While we grieve her loss, the love and unity she nurtured in all of us will continually inspire us to become the best versions of ourselves, just as she always believed us to be.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Alan Williams of Baton Rouge, LA; sons, Brian Williams of Washington, DC and Matt Williams of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter-in-law, Alanna Williams of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Daly Williams, Laurel Williams, and Reid Williams; daughter-in-law, Renata Shalima of Washington, DC; sister-in-law, Lois Kidd of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Barry Williams (Brenda) of Springfield, MO; brother-in-law, Charlie Williams (Dana) of Jennings, LA; sister-in-law, Virginia Davis of Baton Rouge, LA and sister-in-law Linda Howard of Houston, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Lillian Rodriguez of New Orleans, LA; brothers, Bruce Rodriguez of Houston, TX and Jimmy Rodriguez of Jackson, MS and granddaughter, Avery Williams of Baton Rouge, LA.

The family invites you to come to share your stories at a Memorial Service that will be held on Friday, June 14th at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (825 Government St.) from 12PM to 4PM.
