She was a retired federal government employee, a native of Labarre and a resident of Spring, Texas. Delta died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Tomball Texas Regional Hospital. She was 88. Delta was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 11 a.m. until the religious service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Thomas Duhé. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Delta is survived by her three daughters, Phyllis Robinson and her husband, Richard, of Houston, Darlene Irvin and her husband, George, of Tomball, Texas, and Elizabeth McClanahan, of Raleigh, N.C.; her son, Kevin McClanahan, of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Nelda Viger and Amie Landry, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Andrew LeBlanc, of Lakeland; four grandchildren, Ginger Chandler, Candace Bernstein, Grant Irvin and Drew Irvin; and two great-granddaughters, Shelby Chandler and Kelsey Bland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade J. McClanahan III; parents, Andrew J. and Anna Crochet LeBlanc; and brother, Lester LeBlanc.
