Denise P. Neck

Denise P. Neck, devoted wife, loving mother of six, and proud grandmother of 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren returned to her Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Baton Rouge. She was 86, a native of Denham Springs and a resident of Zachary, LA. She is survived by her children, Louis and wife Nancy Neck, Mary and husband Mikal Bass, Margaret Selders, Veronica and husband John Runnels, Paula and husband Doug Orillion, and Gerard and wife Marilyn Neck; sisters Virginia Brown, Victoria and husband Clovis Brecheen, and Theresa Gremillion; brothers, Paul Jr. and wife Theresa Paline, and Carl Paline. She was preceded in death by her husband, Achilles J. Neck and parents, Paul Sr. and Lily Paline. Denise was a member of St. Isidore and St. John Catholic Church and proudly sang in the St. Isidore choir for many years. Visitation will be 6 pm - 9 pm with Rosary at 8 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA, and 9 am - 10 am on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Rd. Baton Rouge, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Wednesday at St. Isidore Catholic Church followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6213 Groom Rd. Baker, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church.
