A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 73 and a native of Ontario, Calif. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Dec. 30, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Survived by her husband, Glenn R. Franklin; daughter, Karen Franklin French and spouse Scott; two sons, Kenneth Franklin, and Donald Franklin and spouse Kathryn; and three grandchildren, April Reed, Emily Franklin and Shannon French. She was a volunteer at Golden Age Nursing Home and active in bowling and bridge.
