
Faith, family, friends, and food - the treasures of her life! Diane Keller Wiemer, 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 1st at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA surrounded by family and a longtime, special friend. "Dee", as she was known by many was a loving mother, adoring grandmother, and loyal friend to so many, touching lives and making all feel that they were the most important person in the world. Her bright smile and positive attitude will be missed by all. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Jennifer Wiemer of Houston, Texas; daughters and son-in-laws, Kelli and Brent Bankston of Baton Rouge, Liz and Greg Pipkin of Houston, Texas, Brandli Roberts of Baton Rouge, JoLynn and Mark Patin of Lafayette; and by former spouse, Robert Wiemer Sr. and Kitty Hessburg; and by the joys of her life, her twenty grandchildren, Trey, Catherine, Paige and Madelyn Wiemer; Keller, Rachel, Morgan, Emily and Bo Bankston; Gregory, William, Austin, Maggie and Olivia Pipkin; Kalli, Anna, and Walton Roberts; and Mac, Reed and Josie Patin. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Junior League of Baton Rouge, Charity Ball Association, Morning Callers, Fiction Club and Monday Bible Study. She loved nothing better than playing Bridge with her best friends as she was an accomplished Bridge player and Life Master. Visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Baton Rouge, 763 North Blvd, on Sunday, July 6th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday, July 7th from 10 a.m. until funeral services begin at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First Presbyterian Church.
