Dolorus Jean Roblin

Dolorus "Jeanie" Jean Figurant Vidrine Roblin passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at B.R. General Hospital (Bluebonnet). Visitation will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church (749 East Blvd) on Monday, July 12 from 9 am until Funeral Mass at 11 am. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Jeanie was 82, born and raised in Basile, LA. She is survived by her husband of almost four years, Newman Roblin; her children, Daniel Vidrine (Holly) and Cyndi Vidrine Barnes (Kerry); step children, Lisa Roblin Madere (Alvin), Peter Roblin (Amanda), along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Capt. Coleman Vidrine; son, David; daughter, Connie; and step great granddaughter, Reese. Jeanie was a longtime parishioner of St. Agnes Church. She was a professor with the Cursillo Movement and later volunteered with Sr. Dulce`s Ministry. She was a devout Catholic who attended Mass and said the Rosary daily with her husband and prayer partner, Newman. Her love and dedication to her faith was an inspiration to all who knew her. Jeanie's sense of humor and love for her many friends and family shined through her smile and laughter. She will be greatly missed and was a wonderful friend to many. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at B.R. General Hospital for all their love and care that they showed Jeanie.
