
A manager of data processing at Baton Rouge Water Co. with 27 years of service, he died at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at the Butterfly Wing of Hospice of Baton Rouge after he fought a courageous three-year battle with cancer. He was 60, a resident of Baton Rouge and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until celebration of life service at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Duhe, celebrant. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Donna Latil Harlow; son and best friend, Blake Elliot Harlow; brother, Larry DeWayne Harlow; mother-in-law, Dorothy Cotton Latil; aunt and uncle, Ronald Sr. and Gloria Harlow; and numerous family and friends. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Donald D. Sr. and Ethel Hoover Harlow; and father-in-law, Donald Latil Sr. Pallbearers will be Kurt Wilson, Don Latil Jr., Glenn Fritchie, Hans Mayers, Ron Harlow Jr., Mike Henry, Kurt Wilson Jr. and Matt Bruce. Honorary pallbearer is Ronald Harlow Sr. He was a 1966 graduate of Broadmoor High School and attended LSU. He was a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
