Doris Odom Arabie

Doris O. Arabie, age 84, passed away June 28, 2023. She was born in Philadelphia, MS, but passed away in Baton Rouge, LA. Doris cherished her family and friends. She loved to host family gatherings at her home. Doris was an excellent cook and took great joy in gardening. She doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with them as much as possible. Doris was a great friend to many who crossed her path.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Cindy Stevens (Kary) of Pride, LA; Debra Sablatura (John) of Zachary, LA; brother, Robert Odom of LA; sister, Sarah Verdick of CA; Grandchildren, Chad Stevens (Melissa) of BR; Eric Stevens of BR; Taylor Bergeron (Kristen); Morgan Keller (Cory) of BR; Clayton Alexander (Helen) of baker; Kyle Alexander of BR; Cody Love (Stephanie) of Missouri; Ashley Lafleur; Chris Love; Rusty Love; Jacqueline Doucet of LA; as well as 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Arabie; daughter, Michelle Alexander; as well as son-in-law, Robert Alexander.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to Comite Baptist Church on Saturday July 1, 2023 from 9:00AM until the service time at 11:00AM.
