"A native of Foules, LA and a long term resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the age of 102. Doris loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and birdwatching. She was a seamstress in WWII and worked in the cosmetic department of Rosenfield's Department Store on 3rd St. Doris was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and great-great grandmother. She is greatly loved and dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Moselle Dungan; 2nd husband Wilmer Knight; all of her siblings; and son-in-law Nelson Moody. Doris is survived by her daughter Alice Moody of Baton Rouge; son Moses Ray "Toby" Dungan (wife Elinor) of Thomasboro, IL; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and special caring friends, Mary and Roy Noble. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 17. 2017 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory (11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816) at 10:00 am.
