A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 75 and a native of Madisonville. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., Saturday, Dec. 26, from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Larry Badon. Earline is survived by her husband, William Arvin Johnston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Arnold Kairdolf, and Eva Kay and Paul Hebert; son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Karen Johnston; sister, Sally Hodges; two brothers, Sam and Harold Wager; four grandchildren, Rachel Schoppert and husband Clint, Christy Long and husband Liam, William Sweet and Darren Johnston; four great-grandchildren, Travis, Luke and Micah Schoppert and Golden Long; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Dora Wager.
