Eddie Joseph Aydell died Sunday, September 9, 2012, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. He was born February 6, 1910. He was a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of French Settlement, LA. He was 102 years old. He retired from Ethyl Corporation wit 31 years of service. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, September 14, 2012, from 10:30a.m. until service at 12:00p.m. Entombment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Gordon Hughmark; grandsons, Mark Bergeron, Beaumont, TX, and Daniel Bergeron, Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leontine Aydell; his parents, Vincent and Mathilde Roux Aydell, French Settlement; sisters, Ada Guitreau, French Settlement, and Bea Vicknair, Ponchatoula; and brothers, Alvin Aydell, Baton Rouge, and John Aydell, Baton Rouge. The family would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the wonderful and kind staff of Ollie Steele Burden Manor where he spent the past four yeras.
