Edward Lee House, "The Champ". I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Born December 11, 1948, 65 years old and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a security guard at Baton Rouge General Hospital and a marshal for LSU Athletics. He died peacefully in his home on December 13, 2013 surrounded by family. Survived by his wife Linda R. House of forty four years, four children, Vickie H. and Wade Duty, Kelly House, Michael House and Justin and Stacy House, four grandchildren, Kaleb and Kelsey Marcotte, Grayson House and Lillian Duty. Proceeded in death by his parents Robert House, Sr. and Lille Mae House, four brothers and one sister. Visitation will be at Greenoaks funeral home on Monday December 16 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM with a service to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Livestrong Foundation or Cancer Services of Baton Rouge. Everyone attending the service is invited to wear their LSU colors in honor of Ed's love for the LSU Tigers.
