A retired Dixi Chemical Corp. sales representative with 15 years of service and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Regency Place. He was 83, a native of Century, Fla., and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Jan. 8, from 10 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Billy Minyard. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Gloria E. Beall, of Greenwell Springs, and Marilyn and Edmond Hill, of Denham Springs; a sister, Dorothy Doherty, of Texas; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Werdna Fridge Hall; and mother, Lucy Hall.
